| Gill spent most of her career in the Treasury, retiring in 2001 as Director of Public Services. She has been a Trustee of the Meningitis Trust since 1996 and was Chairman of St George's Hospital Charity from 2002 to 2009. She has been involved with CSiS since 1996 | |
| Barrie Seaman - Deputy Chairman | |
| Barrie enjoyed a varied career as a finance professional before becoming manager of the BT Benevolent Fund 1998–2009. He served as a trustee of Behçet’s Syndrome Society 1986–2007 and of Careways Trust since 2004. |

| Chris Furlong - Treasurer | |
| Chris took early retirement from the Ministry of Defence in April 2009. His final appointment was as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner. Chris joined the Civil Service Insurance Society and Civil Service Widows and Orphans Fund committees of management in 1996. | |
| Charles Cochrane | |
| Charles recently retired as Secretary of the Council of Civil Service Unions (CCSU) having occupied that post since 1995. Prior to that he had been employed by CCSU as Asst Secretary since 1985 having started work for the Society of Civil and Public Servants (SCPS) in 1979. From 1998, until his retirement, Charles has also undertaken the role of Director of Policy of the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS). | |
| Neil Couling | |
| Neil's twenty five year career spans both the headquarters of the Dept for Work and Pensions (and its predecessor the Dept for Social Security). Neil moved to his current role in the summer of 2009 as Director for Benefit Strategy, Welfare Wellbeing Group. He is responsible for benefit strategy, long-term benefit reform, introduction of the Employment Support Allowance, Disibility Living Allowance and Housing Benefit Reform. | |
| Kevin Holliday | |
| Kevin has spent his career in the Insurance Industry and is currently the Chief Executive of the Civil Service Insurance Society. He currently represents CSIS as a Member of the Kent Peoples Trust and is a Director of Civil Service Benevolent Fund Enterprises Ltd. | |
| Peter Norris | |
|
Peter is a retired Civil Servant who worked in the Ministry of Defence, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Cabinet Office and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. He is a professional Internal Auditor but also worked in the security and Information Technology specialisms. |

| Brian Sturtevant | |
| Brian retired as a National Officer of the Public and Commercial Services Union in 1998 after 25 years service. He then became General Secretary of the Civil Service Pensioners Alliance, retiring from that post in 2008, and worked closely with CSIS during that time. | |

| Helen Harris | |
| Helen has been in post as Deputy Chief Executive of the Civil Service Insurance Society and Secretary to the charity for over 11 years. Her charity interest spans over 20 years having worked for a Civil Service Charity prior to joining CSiS. | |
