The Civil Service Benevolent FundThe Civil Service Benevolent Fund is the principal occupational charity for all current and former civil servants, and employees of Associated Organisations. Last year it provided help, advice, and support to over 9,000 people, with financial assistance totaling nearly £4 million. The BT Benevolent FundThe BT Benevolent Fund serves the wider family of employees, pensioners and their dependents, the emphasis of its work being on the relief of financial hardship. Each year the Fund deals with around 600 new cases and also assists over 300 elderly people on very low incomes with weekly grants in support of living expenses. In all the Fund spends over £0.5m each year on charitable aid. |

Benenden Healthcare SocietyBenenden is a "mutual" organisation not a medical insurer. Its members club together to benefit from the first class medical help they need, when they need it most. Everyone pays the same - a small weekly contribution of just £1.25 per person. They provide help on a wide range of medical conditions and can also offer a cash plan to further ease your budget. |

Benenden Charitable TrustIn 2005 Benenden Healthcare Society marked its centenary year with the introduction of a new charity: The Benenden charitable Trust.
The Trust exists to provide financial support to people in extreme need due to sickness, disability, Infirmity or any medical condition that the Society, through its core services, is unable to help with.
So far in 2011 the Charitable Trust has considered over 80 new applications for assistance, and awarded grants to more than half of these. This could be for an operation or respite care for example, or the provision of equipment or services.

NHS Retirement FellowshipThe Fellowship is a registered charity that exists to promote the welfare and interests of retired NHS staff. It was established in 1978 and has gone from strength to strength, enjoying the support of NHS Chief Executives at local and national level. Their local branches are a key part of the Fellowship and members enjoy a range of sporting, leisure and social activities. The Fellowship also has a Benevolent Fund to support members and their partners in financial need. |

Civil Service Pensioners AllianceThe CSPA is a campaigning and lobbying group for pensioners from Civil Service and related pension schemes. They are an independent, non-party political organisation with an elected Executive Council, an annual policy-making conference and about 100 local Groups throughout the UK. They are the only organisation recognised by Government Departments, Agencies, etc as speaking for all Civil Service pensioners. The CSPA has nearly 65,000 members . |

The Civil Service Retirement FellowshipCan you spare some time to help the Civil Service's very own retirement organisation support its retirees? Perhaps you're planning your retirement and would like to meet and socialise with other retirees from the Service who come together voluntarily to help former colleagues in need. Whatever your retirement plans, there's bound to be some aspect of our work to which you can contribute whether through active participation in our nationwide branch and group network or by simply joining as a member. The CSRF also offers a comprehensive pre-retirement course which is specifically designed for civil servants. In addition we co-ordinate "spare" places on civil service retirement courses throughout the UK and make these available to all departments. The Rowland Hill FundThe Rowland Hill Fund is designed to support Royal Mail Group Ltd. colleagues, pensioners and their dependants when facing unmanageable financial strain due to circumstances beyond their control, sudden illness or personal issues. The Fund helps around 400 people each year distributing £400k in grant aid. Financial support for a young boy with a brain tumour, funds for household items, vital roof repairs and help with utility bill arrears, these are just some of the ways the Fund has helped.
